Scottish up-and-comer ‘Shotgun’ Kieran Kelly speaks to Suplex Retweet.
Listen now on
We sat down with another Source wrestling standout the Shotgun Kieran Kelly. Despite not watching wrestling for the first time until 2012 he immediately fell in love with it and has spent the past 5 years proving why he’s one of the future stars of the UK wrestling scene.
He was introduced to the ICW faithful as the referee for the longest match in pro wrestling between Joe Hendry & Chris Renfrew before earning a full time contract. Through that hectic series of events and his show stealing series of matches with Leyton Buzzard he’s quickly won the support of the ICW fans.
Elsewhere he’s made a name for himself in tag teams with fellow Source graduates Scott McManus and Craig Anthony. He’s also an accomplished singles competitor being the current reigning SWA Scottish X champion.
A natural underdog that you can’t help but love (unless your Alexander Darwin MacAllan.)
He joins our own Kwaku Adjei over twirls and Lucozade to talk his introduction to ICW. They also look ahead to the Source championship tournament, who he’d like to face in the tournament and what other championships he’d like to challenge for in the future.
