Some may know him as the long haired blonde who made up one half of WCW’s Hollywood Blondes. Others may know him as the man who loved to beat up his boss.
If there is one thing you can say about the career of Stone Cold Steve Austin, it certainly was memorable.
The Texas Rattlesnake arguably cemented himself as the most popular wrestler in the history of the sport in the late 90s.
Arriving in the WWE in 1996 initially as a heel, his transition into a babyface came at a time when the company was losing the Monday Night Wars to WCW. The move to make Austin in the main star in the company saw WWE regain control to the Wars, and arguably helped to usher in the most popular period in professional wrestling, The Attitude Era.
Be it interrupting the Corporation with a beer truck or destroying one of Vince McMahon’s expensive cars, there was plenty of memorable moments in the career of Stone Cold.
